At present, there are three types of lock wire materials in the lighting lifting market, and different materials directly determine the safety level and service life of the project, which is also the core selection basis for B-end procurement.
First grade: Brass precision wire lock (standard for mainstream engineering). Integrated die-casting molding, high hardness, not easy to deform, wear-resistant and adjustable, with thousands of high and low adjustments without slipping, strong rust and oxidation resistance, suitable for all medium and large fixtures, long-term hanging lamps, and is the preferred material for brand lamp factories and standardized engineering.
Second gear: Stainless steel wire lock (specifically designed for high humidity outdoor use). Excellent salt spray resistance and corrosion resistance, suitable for underground garages, fresh food markets, coastal projects, outdoor lighting lifting, and long-term humid environments without rusting or jamming.
Third level: Ordinary zinc alloy wire lock (use with caution at low end). Low cost, soft texture, easy to slip and break after multiple adjustments, failure to clamp under force, and short-term use leading to lamp sagging. Currently, it has been gradually phased out by formal tooling projects.
Industry technology trends indicate that in 2026, the procurement of lighting accessories will focus more on "safety redundancy". Brass self-locking wire locks, with high stability, wide adaptability, and outstanding cost-effectiveness, have become the standard matching for linear lamp lifting systems.
